Built-in hood does not violate the interior of the kitchen, does not clutter up the visible space above the stove, remaining virtually invisible, but copes with its responsibilities no worse than any other models. This is confirmed by the units presented in our review. Here are collected powerful and functional built-in hoods for large and small rooms - and each of them deserves to be called the best.

Hoods

Fully recessed

FABER Onyx-C is an excellent choice for island cuisine.

FABER Onyx C

The hood, which is built into the ceiling or a separate box above the island kitchen, is 90 cm wide. This allows you to install it not only above the standard, but also above the wide multi-hotplates. The model is equipped with a brushless motor, which makes it rather quiet and reliable. Productivity of an extract is 780-1250 m3 / h. It is controlled using the icons on the touch panel or with the remote control.

Pros:

  • Relatively quiet - in different power modes it produces no more than 40-52 dB;
  • Perimeter-drawn flow reduces noise performance and at the same time increases exhaust efficiency;
  • There is a function of interval switching for regular updating of air in the kitchen - something like forced airing;
  • Automatic shutdown by timer;
  • Short-term regime of intensive work to remove particularly strong odors (burnt porridge, fried fish);
  • The presence of indicators indicating the status of filters and the need to replace them;
  • Low Power - Class A ++.

Minuses:

MIELE DA2558 - small, but very functional

MIELE DA2558

This baby is built into a wall cabinet or a separate module directly above the stove, without disturbing the kitchen interior. Its width is only 53 cm - this hood is suitable only for compact plates for 2-3 burners. Despite its modest dimensions, the unit has a capacity of 360-600 m3 / h and can be used in standard premises of 10-15 m2.

Pros:

  • Efficient stainless steel grease grids safely carry cleaning in the dishwasher;
  • There are programmable indicators of the main and carbon filters - for them, you can set the number of hours indicated on the cartridge in order to prevent premature “beacon” operation;
  • Many automated functions: speed control, residual stroke, interval switching (you can also manually adjust them if you wish);
  • The presence of an intensive mode - its duration is set using a timer;
  • The hood can be “tied” to the Miele cooking surface using a complete radio module, and then its power will be adjusted to the operating mode of the burners;

  • All the buttons (and there are a lot of them here) are located below - the first time you will often have to look under the hood to press the desired key.

ELICA See You - hood in the countertop

ELICA See You

This model differs from the majority of extracts in a way of installation. It is fully embedded in the worktop next to the hob and can remain invisible for the time being, hiding under a glass lid. However, this arrangement does not prevent her from coping with her task. With a capacity level of 1000 m3 / h, Elica eliminates all odors, preventing them from spreading through the kitchen and adjacent rooms.

Pros:

  • It is built in a floor bollard, allowing you to easily hide the air duct;
  • Does not interfere during cooking and does not close the review;
  • Large length of the suction inlet (90 cm) - this hood can be used with wide plates for 5-6 burners;
  • The glass panel that opens the air grid is fixed in different positions - at an angle of 45 or 90 °;
  • The lid is opened by simply pressing - no protruding handles or grooves where dirt will constantly accumulate;
  • There is an intense 5-minute mode when the hood reaches its maximum power;
  • The filter maintenance indicator will alert when it is time to clean or replace them;
  • Simple operation using the touch keys on the panel or the included remote control.

Minuses:

  • Due to the peculiarities of its location, such an extractor catches steam a little worse, rising from pans;
  • The price is 115 thousand rubles, moreover, to work in the recirculation mode, you will have to separately purchase a return module.

Partially embedded

DACH Adonis 60 - powerful and quiet hood for combined space

DACH Adonis 60

This model with a retractable screen has an enviable capacity: it is able to overtake 1000 cubic meters of air in an hour. This is enough even for a spacious 20-meter kitchen or a common space (for example, in a studio apartment). The device can work both on tap and in recirculation mode, for which you will need to additionally purchase carbon filters.

  • Effective registration of a sliding level overlay from color glass;

Minuses:

  • On beige models in the daytime badges are not readable.

KRONA Kamilla 2M 600 Inox - inexpensive and reliable

Krona

In spite of the standard size of 60 cm, 2 motors were placed inside this hood at once, providing performance up to 550 m3 / h in the drainage mode and 385 cubes per hour - in the recirculation mode. This unit is enough for most urban kitchens with an area of 10-11 squares.

Pros:

  • Automatic switching on when the panel is extended (if the working speed is pre-set) and the same simple auto power off;
  • Bright halogen backlights - here they are two of 28 watts each;
  • Light bulbs come with the popular E14 base - there will be no problems with a replacement;
  • Anti-return valve does not allow cold air in winter when the hood is turned off;
  • Two motors make noise and consume no more than one energy, but due to the smaller load the risk of their failure is noticeably reduced;
  • Long service life - Crones usually work without a trouble for at least 7-8 years;
  • Affordable price of 6000 rubles.

Minuses:

  • The control buttons are hidden behind the sliding panel, which is not always convenient.
